Back in November, Clearview members had an exciting opportunity to turn their holiday shopping into something extraordinary. By simply using their Clearview Mastercard® for eligible in-store purchases, members earned entries for a chance to win incredible prizes, including the $15,000 grand prize.
After the sweepstakes closed, one lucky winner emerged. We’re thrilled to introduce you to Mercedes, who took home the grand prize! In this special Q&A-style blog article, she shares her reaction to winning, her Clearview story, and advice for future participants.
1. How long have you been a member of Clearview?
About 2 years.
2. What initially drew you to Clearview, and what has kept you as a member?
The friendly, positive environment definitely drew us here. They’re so great financially, make me feel secure, and continue to be a very positive company to be with.
3. How has Clearview supported you in achieving your financial goals and are there any goals you’re currently working towards?
Anytime we have a question, they’re always there to help. We’re also hopefully buying a bigger and better home to meet our family’s needs.
4. How did you feel when you found out you won the $15,000 grand prize?
Unreal! I didn’t believe it and even when I did get the call that I won, I still didn’t believe it. It was very exciting and very overwhelming. I was just shocked because I never win anything ever. It was awesome!
5. How do you plan to use the prize money?
We plan to use the money to pay off some debt and we’re in the process of hopefully buying a new home. We have three children now and we’ve outgrown the one we’re in. We’ll maybe do a little bit of extra spending just because! I’m a stay-at-home mom so I want to treat myself too.
6. What would you say to other Clearview members about participating in future promotions or sweepstakes?
Oh my gosh, I definitely say go for it! Like I said, I never win anything and if I could happen to me, it could happen to you!
7. If you could describe your experience with Clearview in one word, what would it be and why?
I’m going to go with: safe. They’re very trusting and I feel very secure with my money being with them. As long as I’m around, I’ll be with Clearview.
