Pittsburgh, PA - November 13, 2024 – Members of Beaver Valley Federal Credit Union have voted in favor of a merger with Clearview Federal Credit Union, marking a key milestone in the merger process. The merger will officially take effect on Monday, June 2, 2025. Plans for the merger were initially announced in August 2024, following approval by the NCUA. Beaver Valley’s two branches will continue operating and will transition to Clearview locations on the merger date. All Beaver Valley employees will become employees of Clearview as part of this transition.

In the coming months, Clearview and Beaver Valley will collaborate on the integration process, enabling Beaver Valley members to access Clearview’s comprehensive suite of digital products and financial solutions. During this transition, Beaver Valley members’ day-to-day experiences will remain unchanged, ensuring a seamless experience until the merger is fully completed on June 1, 2025.
Clearview Federal Credit Union has been in operation since 1953 and serves more than 120,000 members with reported assets valued at $2 billion as of October 2024. Membership in Clearview is open to individuals who live, work, worship, volunteer, or attend school in the Southwestern Pennsylvania community, which includes Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Washington, and Westmoreland counties. Membership is also open to immediate family members of current Clearview members.
