Back to school: 2006 vs 2026

It’s that time of year again! The back-to-school lists are out and the carts are filling up fast. We invited viewers to take a quick survey, asking them to guess what common back-to-school items cost back in 2006 and to share their shopping plans for this year.

Natalie Holloway, Manager of Retail Experience at our South Fayette Financial Center, walked us through the findings. The results were eye-opening, revealing just how much prices have shifted and how thoughtfully families are budgeting for the school year today.
