Want to help? Here's a way to turn $1 into 5 — five meals, that is!
- The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank (GPCFB) has distributed more than 35 million meals across 11 counties in southwestern Pennsylvania. GPCFB is here for our community now more than ever. It recently hosted a drive-up emergency food box distribution in Duquesne on March 30th. If you’ve lost our job, GPCFB may be able to help you, too. To show our support, Clearview sponsors GPCFB’s Food Podcasts in which you can learn more about the efforts and opportunities of this organization. We also place financial tips on its recipe cards to help educate and empower those in need.
- The Westmoreland County Community Food Bank (WCCFB) currently serves 16,500 people each month and distributed more than six million pounds of food in 2018. Over half of our neighbors served by WCCFB are the working poor or disabled. In addition, another 34% are children and 13% are seniors.
You can show your support for these two organizations. When you donate through Clearview, 80% of your donation will go to GPCFB and 20% will go to WCCFB. That means 100% of your donation will help fight hunger!
Clearview helps fight hunger another way. Congratulations to the Golden Tornado Foundation’s Kids’ Weekend Backpack Program — the winning charity of our 2020 Clearview Craziness! We’re also thrilled to donate to the runner-up charity, Paws Across Pittsburgh! Thanks to all who voted.
Our partnerships are just one way we help people enjoy a better life.
