Clearview, Adventures in Training with a Purpose help area residents improve quality of life

Pittsburgh, PA, February 26, 2020, (clerviewfcu.org)… Clearview teamed up with Adventures in Training with a Purpose (ATP) to help improve the quality of life for area residents. Clearview donated $250 for every turnover that the Pittsburgh Steelers defense forced in the 2019 season. In total, $9,500 was donated by Clearview to Adventures in Training with a Purpose.

ATP is a regional nonprofit focused on helping those in need improve their quality of life through the promotion of health and wellness with utilizing physical activity. ATP confronts health and movement related issues in vulnerable populations who no longer have the benefit of paid rehabilitation.

The check was presented by Clearview CEO, Ron Celaschi, and representatives from Clearview to the founder of ATP, Jon Kolb, and his staff on Friday, February 14, 2020. Craig Wolfley, Pittsburgh Steelers alumnus and current Steelers broadcaster, was also in attendance.

About Adventures in Training with a Purpose
Adventures in Training with a Purpose is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded in 2015 by Jon Kolb, to confront health and movement related issues in vulnerable populations who no longer have the benefit of paid rehabilitation. ATP works towards a world where no one is held prisoner to his/her health-related limitations by providing Functional Mobility Wellness training consisting of strength and aerobic training, in combination with balance elements and movement patterns. ATP provides complex training to those suffering chronic pain/disease such as spinal cord injury, MS, ALS, Parkinson's, cognitive development disorders, and more. ATP also has community programs for Veterans, At-Risk Youth, and those suffering homelessness and substance abuse. The heart of the plan is the commitment to build and rebuild relationships and enjoy the freedom of "moving and doing".
