Clearview fights hunger and supports small business, frontline workers
Pittsburgh, PA, April 2, 2020, (clearviewfcu.org)… Clearview Federal Credit Union continues to do its part to combat consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the region’s communities. Clearview has donated a total of $8,000 this week; $500 to each of the following local food pantries, Meals on Wheels programs and churches supporting backpack assistance programs in the region including:- West Hills Food Pantry
- Archangel Gabriel Food Pantry
- Focus on Renewal Food Pantry
- Meals on Wheels in Brentwood
- Faith Restorations
- Grace Community Church / Seneca Valley School District / Blessings in a Backpack
- Manna Soup Kitchen
- Meals on Wheels at the Crossroads in McMurray
- St. Margaret Mary Church
- St. Nazarene Church
- Greater Latrobe Ministerial Association Food Pantry at St. Vincent’s Grove
- Meals on Wheels in Monroeville
In addition, Clearview is doing its part to stimulate Southwestern PA’s small business economy by buying from local restaurants. To show support for frontline workers, including their own, Clearview is having the meals delivered to those working today at their financial centers, care center and the following healthcare and law enforcement agencies:
