Sports bracket fundraiser helps net youth backpack program $1,500

Pittsburgh, PA, April 3, 2020, (clearviewfcu.org)… Clearview Federal Credit Union held its inaugural non-profit sports bracket contest, “Clearview Craziness,” featuring 16 local non-profit organizations and local charities. The competition was held throughout the month of March in the spirit of the college basketball tournament. The winning non-profit, the Golden Tornado Kid’s Weekend Backpack program from Butler, PA, was the champion, receiving a $1,500 donation. Paws Across Pittsburgh placed second, and Clearview donated $500 to the animal rescue organization.

Clearview continues its commitment and dedication to supporting the communities it serves by supporting initiatives that fight food insecurity, homelessness, and provide support for organizations that help our communities in various ways.
