Clearview FCU Innovates during COVID-19, Offers Takeout Banking

Clearview continues to provide service to members during COVID-19 through prepared transactions for members

Pittsburgh, PA, May 1, 2020, (clearviewfcu.org)… Clearview Federal Credit Union innovated a new concept in the financial industry as they unveiled “Takeout Banking” to provide their members and the communities they serve with more access and convenience for their financial solutions during COVID-19. The process is modeled after the strategy employed by many small business restaurants, including those that Clearview supports through other initiatives, that have switched to takeout meals.

Clearview’s “Takeout Banking” allows members to have their transactions complete ahead of time and ready for pick up when they arrive at a preset time to their financial center. “This offering is quick and convenient for our members,” said Ron Celaschi, CEO of Clearview. Takeout Banking was developed and fine-tuned by the Clearview Central Region Team and will roll out to all member financial centers. Clearview continues to take a proactive, community-first approach in supporting its members during COVID-19.
