Clearview Celebrates Virtual Day of Giving

Online “Clearview Cares^® Day” helps Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank

Pittsburgh, PA, April 30, 2020, (clearviewfcu.org)… Clearview Federal Credit Union continues to support their members and the greater communities they serve by hosting their inaugural, virtual “Clearview Cares^® Day” on Friday, April 24, 2020. This online day of giving was created by the employees of Clearview to give back directly to those impacted most by food insecurity during the COVID-19 crisis. A goal of $3,000 or the equivalent of 15,000 meals for the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank was set, and employees themselves exceeded the goal on Clearview Cares^® Day. In total, $4,357 was raised, with $3,717 coming directly from the generosity of the Clearview staff members. This is the largest amount ever raised in a single day by Clearview employees.

Not only did the virtual Clearview Cares^® Day focus on benefiting community members in need, Clearview staff proudly wore Clearview Cares^® shirts onsite for essential staff and at home for those working remotely. They also shared photos and videos of each other and their families making donations and supporting the virtual Clearview Cares^® Day.
