National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund
All members’ deposits are federally-insured through the NCUSIF (National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund) backed by the full-faith and credit of the United States government up to at least $250,000 with additional coverage up to $250,000 on some retirement accounts.
No member of a credit union insured by the NCUSIF has ever lost a penny of insured savings, and payments are promptly made to members of insured credit unions.

Mortgage Information
Clearview’s real estate lending practices are continually reviewed and adjusted based on market situations.
If you hold a mortgage through Clearview, the status of your mortgage is not affected by the health of other real estate lenders. Clearview has never engaged in sub-prime mortgage lending. Government takeover of problematic financial institutions will likely benefit those planning to obtain a mortgage at other financial institutions, like credit unions, by lowering mortgage rates.
