Savings Bonds

Due to a recent government regulation, paper Savings Bonds are no longer sold at Clearview, or any other financial institution. Instead, all Series EE and I Savings Bonds are to be purchased directly from the U.S. Treasury’s website at www.treasurydirect.gov. You will also be able to convert existing paper bonds into electronic bonds using the U.S. Treasury’s website.

Paper Savings Bonds may still be redeemed at Clearview.  You can redeem Series E, EE, I Bonds and Savings Notes with any redemption value for members who have had their account opened for at least six months. Non-members may cash bonds with a redemption value of $1,000 or less. Click here for more information.

Direct Deposit/ACH Distributions*

Direct Deposit of a company paycheck is available through the Automated Clearing House (ACH). Your paycheck is electronically transferred into your Clearview account on the morning of the day you are paid and is instantly available to you. Payroll checks, Social Security checks, retirement checks, pension checks, and government or military checks can all be directly deposited into your Savings or Checking account. Contact your payroll department to see if your company participates in the Automated Clearing House (ACH).

Once you have established Direct Deposit with us, you can start a savings plan with ACH Distribution. Set up deposits to any account of your choice in any amount you desire with the money coming directly from your ACH direct deposit. The convenience and ease of ACH Distribution takes the worry out of saving money.

* Loan payments cannot be set up through ACH Distribution.
