Today's rising number of personal bankruptcies, increased consumer credit delinquency and inadequate saving habits have created a critical need for financial literacy awareness. Credit unions worldwide have taken on the challenge of educating students on basic financial responsibility concepts and practices in order to improve the financial health of our nation.
At Clearview, we are committed to providing financial education and other related financial topics of interest to both students and members of our community. We offer personal finance presentations at schools, community and church based functions and the workplace, all free of charge. Presentations are tailored to specific groups to address their particular interest.
Financial Literacy Education seminars and other programs are available to school districts in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Be sure your local school officials are aware of these valuable services that help today's students become properly educated in personal financial management and prepared for their financial future.
You may contact Mary Ann Demczak, our Accredited Financial Counselor and Financial Education Advocate, via email at mdemczak@clearviewfcu.org or at 412-299-6083, to discuss the seminar options that would best suit your group.
