 Food Pantries

Thankfully our local Food Pantries provide canned food, dry goods and household paper products to the needy of our communities. Some of the Food Pantries also distribute the Senior Citizens monthly food box. Clearview and its employees support these local Food Pantries in many ways:

  • Weekly - Employees volunteer to distribute food and other dry goods to the clients of the Food Pantries.
  • Delivery – The West Hills Food Pantry receives their supplies monthly from the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Our employees help unload the truck and stock the shelves and freezers.
  • Thanksgiving Baskets – Clearview employees donate the food items for a Thanksgiving Day meal in beautiful holiday baskets. The baskets are then passed out to many needy families at the local Food Pantries.
  • Canned Food Collections – Twice a year West Hills Food Pantry receives a huge delivery of canned food, one from the Postal Carriers and the other from the Mile of Cans collection held by the West Hills Christian Church. Our employees join the other volunteers to unload trucks, check expiration dates on the cans, sort and stock the shelves.
  • Backpacks For Kids – New backpacks are purchased and filled by the Clearview employees. The local food pantries then distribute them to the children at the start of a new school year.
  • Winter Coats Collection – Employees donate gently worn winter coats for children and adults.
