We are officially into the summer, and this is a very exciting season for Clearview. As
we do every summer, we held our Annual Meeting on June 21, 2008. This year it
was held at the Robert Morris University Island Sports Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.
This Annual Meeting was particularly special because we are celebrating our 55th
Anniversary this year. Clearview has come a long way from its beginnings in 1953,
and we look forward to serving our members for many years to come.
Also at the Annual Meeting, four members were elected to fill the four vacancies on
our Board of Directors. Robert Farrell, James Frazier and Mark Palastro were each
elected for a three year term. I, Mark Brennan, was elected for a two year term. I
would like to recognize the Board of Directors for the 2008-2009 year:

The Robert Morris University Island Sports Center proved to be a great venue for
our Annual Meeting, with many activities for members. I would like to thank
everyone able to attend the Annual Meeting this year.
At the Annual Meeting, we recognized the winners of the Ninth Annual Ralph B.
Canterbury Scholarship. We are proud to award each of these young men and
women with $1,250 towards continuing their education. You can read about all ten
winners in the "Scholarship Winners" section of this newsletter. Congratulations again to all winners!
I am also very pleased to announce that the construction of our Wexford branch is
coming along very well. We are looking forward to an August opening, followed by
a Grand Opening Celebration in September of this year. This branch will feature
four teller windows, two drive-up lanes, a drive up ATM and a
night deposit box. This branch will be located in the all-new
Copperleaf Developments off Perry Highway in Wexford, Pa.
