Part-time Payment Processing Specialist
Department: Payment Processing Center Location: Moon Township Salary: $11.28 per hour; salary commensurate with experience Reports to: AVP – Branch & Member Services
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous payment processing experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must possess good organization and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple duties
- Knowledge of Credit Union products and services
- Flexibility in working hours
- Proven sales record
- Good attendance record
- Must remain in the position one year
Duties:
Process daily mail items in an accurate and timely manner. Responsible for processing all payments initiated by other means such as Pay by Phone, Debit/Credit Card, CCCS and CDI transactions. Process Midwest mortgage, bankruptcy, principal/interest only, and charged off loan payments. Refund late fees and loan protection insurances. Review and process transactions on the Waive Small Loan Balance report. Review the Address Changes Report and complete transactions for Delinquent Visa Sweeps. Provide member service for payment processing over the telephone and through written correspondence. Answer telephone and handle inquiries concerning payments from members and co-workers. Research and correct any problems/errors with payment transactions. Complete computer entry into Akcelerant and communicate problem resolutions to the Collection Department and the Q & A Department. Refer and sell Credit Union products/services. Attend required Credit Union training and meetings. Handle other duties as assigned.
Part-Time Teller
Department: Member Services Location: Brentwood Salary: $9.15 per hour; salary commensurate with experience Reports to: AVP – Branch & Member Services
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Teller experience preferred.
- Ability to handle cash and possess good analytical skills.
- Excellent member service skills.
- Demonstrated cross-selling skills.
- Good communication skills in person and on the telephone
- Knowledge of financial products and services
- Familiar with the use of computers.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on operational needs.
- Must remain in the position one year.
- Good attendance record.
Duties:
Receive and process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan/Visa payments and Visa cash advances on member accounts in person and requests by mail. Balance all assigned cash daily and ensure security of teller area. Perform daily work tasks such as computer entry of change of address, stop payments, etc. Cross-sell Credit Union products and services where appropriate or refer member to necessary staff. Answer member questions and provide appropriate suggestions to financial needs. Attend required Credit Union training and meetings. Handle other duties as assigned.
