Holy Family Institute Toy Drive 

Clearview participates in Holy Family Institute’s annual toy drive to provide Christmas presents to children in their residential care program. The goal of this toy drive is to help these children experience the joy of the holiday season.

Holy Family Institute, located in Pittsburgh, Pa, serves children ages 6-18 who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect or other special circumstances.

Project Bundle Up

Clearview employees and their families participate in Project Bundle Up, which provides winter outerwear to children and adults every winter.

Clearview employees also volunteer at Pittsburgh television station WTAE’s annual live telethon, where they take pledges for Project Bundle Up over the phone during a prime-time broadcast.

Operation Troop Appreciation Clearview employees raise funds for Operation Troop Appreciation (OTA) through organized 
craft and gift shows. Employees, their family and friends make donations to sell their goods 
and funds are also raised with several prize raffles. Clearview employees also collect items to send to the troops.

Operation Troop Appreciation works with military units to provide items specifically requested by the troops in the field to help ease the burden of deployment. In addition to sending these items, OTA also sends letters to each unit, expressing gratitude for their daily service and sacrifice.

Habitat for Humanity

Clearview Federal Credit Union supports Habitat for Humanity by sponsoring events throughout the Southwestern Pennsylvania area. Since its founding in 1976, Habitat for Humanity has built more than 225,000 houses worldwide, providing simple, decent and affordable shelter for more than 1 million people.

March of Dimes

Clearview supports the March of Dimes in their mission to help save premature babies. Funds are raised by holding several raffles, bake sales and Jean Days, in which Clearview employees can each contribute $5.00 for the opportunity to wear jeans to work. Clearview employees also participate in a 3.2 mile March of Dimes walk.

Central Blood Bank

The Central Blood Bank recruits donors and collects blood for patients, hospitals and healthcare customers. Clearview holds four blood drives each year in support of the Central Blood Bank. The drives are held at Clearview’s main office in Moon Township, PA

Variety the Children's Charity

Clearview supports Variety the Children’s Charity by participating in special radiothons and assisting at the Camp Variety for Kids day camp held each year. The Credit Union also hosts their own Charity Golf Outing events in which proceeds benefit Variety the Children’s Charity.

Variety the Children’s Charity is a non-profit organization known for helping children with disabilities by providing them with enabling equipment, assistive technology and communication devices, and the opportunity to personally develop and to participate in social, educational, artistic, and recreational activities enjoyed by other children.

Epilepsy Foundation

The Epilepsy Foundation is the national voluntary agency dedicated to the welfare of people with epilepsy in the U.S. and their families. The organization works to ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences; and to prevent, control and cure epilepsy through research, education, advocacy and services.

Clearview supports the Epilepsy Foundation by raising donations and participating in the annual Epilepsy Foundation Walk.
